Tial-Chamomile "album" art
For this project I forced myself to make something somewhat "opposite" of my interests/tastes transform into something a little more in line with my approach. The shiny "suburban" packaging of the chamomile tea I chose was very much rooted in the current language of super market shelves, but when I looked closer I realized that I could transform and subvert nearly ever aspect, from the house image, to the words and patterns on the package. I used all these elements to morph the pedestrian packaging into something you might see on a terrible lo-fi black metal band's album art. EXCITING.
