Miraculously, Lindsey pulls off this outfit (we did our best to tailor it well).
We were given two (hideous) dresses and asked to make an outfit that would be more functional, keeping in mind our recent reading about Modernism. We made unisex shorts that tie in the back to fit a variety of different sized bodies. Two pockets were added for practicality. The dress fabric is inside-out, though solid colored fabric would have been ideal. The top is loose for optimal comfort. We spray painted it black to strip the unnecessary (and tacky) fabric design. This outfit references the clothing of field workers in Korea. Simple, but sensible.
