BREAKDOWN:
recently, i had been concerned with the idea of sustainability as it relates to the human body.
i like the idea that everything is ephemeral, even one lifetime in relation to all-time. there is a slight romantic notion to it, in that we only have this moment. i like the idea. i went with it.
i took a pencil i had found two years ago and wiped away moisture on the car window.
there are two points of irony worth mentioning as this piece relates to sustainability. first, it took many breaths to get the shot exactly how i wanted (and i still don't find it that pleasing). second, the idea of maintaining the body is counter-intuitive to the way most people consider sustainability; in that, the longer a body lives, the more resources the body uses from the earth.
