Sandy's Poem
I changed my topic from veganism to the idea of being present. This idea is a common practice within Buddhism. The buddhist do this through meditation and not just meditation through breathing but meditation through everyday activities. This means focusing just on what you're doing and not thinking about the future or past. This practice greatly reduces anxiety and stress. A lot of people focus way to much on the future that they never have time to enjoy whats happening now.I wrote a poem reflecting the idea of being present. My poem basically describes what was going on and how I felt at that moment when I was writing my poem.
