Lindsey: Thesis Mediums - Writing

I explored the medium of writing through reduction and editing. I found an existing syllabus for an 8th grade geography class. I went through the syllabus with a sharpie and crossed out parts that I thought were unnecessary. After that, I went through the syllabus again with a red pen and added sentences that I felt would improve the syllabus. The second part of this exercise was spent exploring the idea of what happens when an internalized process of improvement is sent out into the world. After I edit the syllabus with my own point of view, my edits become morphed when other people internalize them and do their own edits.
