COLE'S WEBSITE PROPOSAL

INFO:
i wrote a business plan that directly related to a website.

the website would breakdown into three specific stages, that would be directly related to audience size.

the first stage of the website would be create an active audience and involved community. i would gather resourceful and inspiring articles from other blogs that consider: minimal lifestyle, financial advice, maintaining and decorating the home, and insightful quotes.

as the audience grows, features would be implemented that offer high utility to the user, while remaining close to their location. these things might be shown, relative to location, on the map: libraries, movie theaters, public parks, highly rated restaurants, concert venues, and museums/galleries.

in the third stage of website, it would focus on creating an actual service that integrates and shares items, events, and groups into a fully integrated lifestyle service. it would involve setting an limit on "stable" items, which the person would restrict to a certain number - with the goal of lowering that number annually.

the service would be directly involved with "floating items", which would be restricted to a certain number per media (i.e. 4 books, 3 dvds, et cetera). the service would allow item transfer through shipping or sharing within the local community, with an emphasis on local giving. items would be tracked and documented with a phone's camera and a barcode, or an item number.

the primary goal of the service would be to create and facilitate constantly growing, shifting, and involved communities. the audience would be interested in living with less, as they continued to do more. they would realize that the items don't create their life, but their actions do.
